The Passive Voice



The passive voice is used when the subject of a sentence is the person or thing affected by the action of the sentence.
The passive voice may use any tense of the verb to be:-
to be
is / are / am (present simple) 


was / were (past simple) 


is being / are being /am being (present continuous)
