"Little" Vs "Few"



Little means:Small in size; not big, large, or great.
Short in duration; not extensive; short; brief: a little while.
Small in number: a little group of scientists.
Small in amount or degree; not much: little hope.

Where as Few means:Not many but more than one: Few artists live luxuriously.
"Few" means "virtually none" or "almost zero".

Little is used with uncountable nouns. Few is used with countable nouns. Examples:
There is a little ice cream left in the freezer.
There are a few students waiting for you.
